The Memory of You

  Mom, do you remember that time we talked on the phone, and after we hung up I noticed the timer on my phone showed that we had talked for over four hours, so I called you back just to tell you?  We laughed and continued to talk for a while longer.  I wish we could do that again.   Do you remember when I won that trip to the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver, B.C. and it was your, and my, first time staying in a fancy hotel?  What fun that was.   Do you remember when you moved into your mobile home, and as we stood admiring your new place, it dawned on us that you had bought a place right next door to Aunt Phyllis?  We laughed and laughed. Wool You Be My Valentine?

  Valentine's Day will be here in a few weeks.  Do you have your valentine's day cards ready to send?   Let me introduce you to an illustration of an adorable alpaca that my family saw at an alpaca farm in Bend, Oregon.  My daughter was infatuated with alpacas, so, of course, when we saw the farm, while on vacation, we had to stop by.  This particular alpaca was smitten with her.  It was funny.  And a little unnerving - I wasn't sure if she would be spit on!   I drew the illustration on the computer with a Wacom tablet - the old fashioned way. I used my own photo for reference, too.  I am proud to be able to offer authentic, hand-drawn art that took hours of my time to create.   ORDER YOUR CARDS HERE
